Hawaiian massage is a very popular form of massage because it feels quite different from other massage modalities. The therapist works with a much larger area of the body than the therapist would during a more traditional massage. The therapist works the body with longer and more sweeping and flowing strokes. If the therapist finds that an area of the body needs stretching they can include stretching and mobilization at the appropriate points in the treatment. Hawaiian is a form of Lomilomi massage which was traditionally used as part of Hawaiian medicine. This massage has been called the most unique full body massage.
