Lymphatic

Lymphatic massage is also called lymphatic drainage massage. It was developed specifically to deal with Lymphedema which is an over accumulation of lymph fluid normally due to damage to the lymph system. This is most commonly seen with mastectomy. There are many more applications including some diseases that create fluid accumulation in the lungs. This therapy is widely recognized and recommended for people with this condition. There are several techniques specific to Lymphatic massage. It is normally a very light application of touch. Kinesio taping can be useful for less serious cases of lymph build up.
